I had to the opportunity in July to take part in a day of video making in Augsburg, Germany with Attila and Friends and Dirk Wonhöfer. We recorded a number of original songs in the Maerchenzelt on blistering hot summer’s day including a previously unreleased song called ”Wandering Irish Heart.”

I’ll be joining ex-miner Seamus Walsh and Dr Michael Conway tomorrow evening as we perform ‘So Deep Within the Shadows of The Mine’ – a show which depicts and reflects on the stories of The Deerpark Mine in Castlecomer, North Kilkenny through poetry and song.

The show begins at 8pm in The Hole in the Wall (17 High Street, Kilkenny).

Be sure to tune in to Roddie Cleere’s Irish Music Show on Sunday evening from 8pm on KCLR 96FM where two songs from my new album ‘Songs of Healing’ will feature along with an oldie from years back.
